How do I make a booking?

In order to book a property you can either do it yourself through our web site ( before check the availability) or write to us. Some properties are available as instant Booking, for some it is necessary to send an inquiry by email.

If you would like us to make the booking for you, we will need to know your full mailing address, a phone number where we can reach you in case e mail is not working, and, of course, the name of the property you would like to book, along with the dates of your stay, and your number of guests.

 

Is there an additional booking fee for booking through Luxury Croatia Retreats?

There are no “hidden” booking fees when you book on our website. Additional surcharges are possible in the villa and they refer to the refundable security deposit, pet fee and etc., but all such costs are listed on the ad and there will be no unpleasant surprises at Check-in. If you have any doubts please contact us.

 

What are the payment methods?

 

Advance payment must be made by bank transfer or credit card. The rest of the reservation is also paid by bank transfer or credit card, but it is also possible, with the agreement of the owner, to pay in cash upon entry, in Euros. If you would like to pay in cash, please contact us to check the possibilities.

 

When will I receive the booking confirmation?

You will receive the reservation confirmation after the advance payment. Advance payment by bank transfer should be paid immediately after booking.  Confirmation of payment must be sent to [email protected]

 

When should I pay the rest of the reservation?

The rest of the reservation must be paid 60 days before arrival. You will receive a reminder through the system.

 

 

Will I get a refund if I cancel my reservation?

Before making a booking with us, you must ensure you have read and understood the Terms & Conditions. In case of cancellation of the reservation more than 60 days before entry, the advance payment is non-refundable. If the reservation is canceled within 6o days before arrival, the entire amount is non-refundable.

 

 

What if I am prevented from arriving at the villa?

In case of actual inability to arrive, it is possible to move the date of arrival, in the same villa, in agreement with the agent. All additional costs related to changing the reservation bears the guest.

It is also possible to transfer the reservation to a friend, family member, but you must notify us in time at [email protected]

 

What are exceptional circumstances?

Extraordinary circumstances include natural disasters and catastrophes, a state of war, death or serious illness of a person.

 

 

The villa is in the pet friendly category, and yet I have to send an inquiry regarding pets?

Some owners reserve the right to decide whether to receive a pet after knowing the species and number. It is necessary to send an inquiry to info@luxurycroatiaretreats with the exact name of the breed and the number of pets. Most permits are valid for one pet, but it is possible for two if it is a smaller species. Contact us for details.

 

 

Why do I have to give a security deposit and how can I pay?

Most villas have a security deposit. The amount and method of payment is visible on each ad. Payment in cash may be required upon entry, but some villas also have the option of paying by card. All deposits are returned at Check-out and, unless otherwise stated, if after inspection it is determined that there is no damage to the villa.

 

 

What about parties and events at the villa?

We offer many properties that are available for special events and weddings; however you will need to reach us on [email protected] with the details of your event and we will let you know which properties can host your event and if there are any fees to be paid.

All guests staying with us are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other guests, or anyone residing in the near vicinity.

 

 

 

 

Who will be there at the time of check-in?

The owner of the villa himself or the manager will welcome you and give you a quick tour of the villa.

Some villas have a self- check in system, but this is stated on the ad.

 

 

Do I have to send an e mail for each villa I'm interested in?

No, a single e-mail in which you list all the villas you are interested in will be sufficient. Your agent will get back to you within 24 hours, except for weekends and holidays when it will be within 48 hours.

 

 

Can I rent for less than a week and is the rental period always Saturday to Saturday?

July and August are considered the heart of the season, and in that period the minimum stay is usually 7 days. Some villas have shifts strictly from Saturday to Saturday, but some do not. It is visible on the ad. In the pre-season and off-season months, it is possible to rent the villa for a smaller number of days. Contact us for more information.

 

 

Is it possible to change the number of guests in the reservation?

Yes, it is possible to change the number of guests, but you must notify us in time. It is not possible to get a discount for a smaller number of people, and the maximum number of people is specified in the ad. An exception may be a child up to 2 years of age. Feel free to contact us for an agreement.

 

 

What happens if we have a problem during our stay?

If there is any problem with the property you can call either us or the property owner. While you stay in one of our properties we are always around, and provide you with a local phone number where our agents can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All you need to do is let us know you need us!

 

 

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Normally Check-in is between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Check- out is normally by 10 a.m. . In between, the properties are cleaned. We kindly ask you that you give the owner adequate time to clean up the house.

For the Check in- if you cannot make it by 20:00 please let us know.
