My name is Vedran, and I am the owner of the gulet Polo, based near Split, Croatia.
My family has been operating private cruises along the Adriatic Sea since 2004, offering guests an authentic and personal way to experience Croatia from the water.
Gulet Polo is a 19-meter-long and 5.7-meter-wide traditional wooden gulet, featuring four fully air-conditioned cabins, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests (+2 additional guests).
Each cabin is equipped with a private shower and toilet, as well as a French bed (200 × 140 cm).
In addition to a generator, Polo is equipped with powerful batteries and transformers, allowing the air conditioning to operate silently for 4–5 hours at night without using the generator — even while anchored in secluded bays and without shore power. This feature ensures exceptional comfort and tranquility and is rarely available on similar vessels.
Embarkation and disembarkation take place in our private home port of Sumpetar (Jesenice), located 16 km southeast of Split.
The gulet is most often operated by my family — myself, my wife, and our sons — providing a warm, personal atmosphere and attentive service throughout the cruise.
Guests arriving by car are provided with free private parking, and for those arriving by plane, we can arrange a private airport transfer (EUR 80 one way, minivan for up to 8 persons).
Our most common cruising area includes the Central Dalmatian islands such as Brač, Hvar, Korčula, Vis, and Šolta.
Depending on guests’ preferences, itineraries can also include Dubrovnik, North Dalmatia, Kornati National Park, or Krka National Park.
